About the role

We are seeking Utility / Guest Services workers to join our team based in Moora. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall smooth operation of remote camp facilities. You will play a vital part in ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all residents and visitors, delivering high standards across housekeeping, sanitation, and general support services.

What you'll do

  • Perform general cleaning tasks, including sanitation of common areas, accommodations, and facilities.
  • Manage laundry services for guests and staff.
  • Maintain a hygienic environment in all designated areas.
  • Ensure guest rooms and shared spaces are clean, organised, and well-maintained.
  • Perform light yard work to maintain the outdoor areas of the camp.
  • Assist chefs and cooks with kitchen duties as required.
  • Ensure dining areas are clean and prepared for meal service.
  • Transport supplies and products between locations as necessary.
  • Support on-site managers/supervisors with administrative and operational tasks.
  • Assist with training sessions and functional support activities.
  • Work and follow all HSE policies, procedures and processes, wear the appropriate PPE, and report on incidents/accidents.

Selection Criteria

  • Previous experience in hospitality within the mining or resources sector (highly regarded)
  • Experience working in remote or industrial environments
  • Background in housekeeping, hospitality, or camp services (preferred)
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a remote setting
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work a rotational roster based on operational requirements
  • Comfortable working in small, close-knit teams in remote locations
  • Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Valid Australian Class C Driver’s Licence (minimum)
  • Current National Police Clearance
