What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that blends office-based coordination with real-world equipment engagement. You’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day rental operations and client interactions.

  • Develop, maintain, and expand our local rental market by building strong client relationships and actively following up on new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate all aspects of rental operations – quoting, bookings, dispatch, servicing, returns, and documentation
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure equipment is delivered on time and in top condition
  • Create technical and commercial proposals, quotes, rental agreements, and invoices
  • Track fleet utilisation and equipment availability to drive operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with our experienced mechanical services team to maintain detailed records of equipment condition and compliance
  • Coordinate with customers on logistics to enable seamless delivery to site
  • Represent Centurion in accordance with our values and enable a high level of customer satisfaction and value

What You'll Bring

  • Solid background in the industrial equipment rental sector (power/lifting equipment experience a bonus!)
  • Sales and/or business development experience in hire, capital equipment or similar industries
  • A positive, can-do personality and a thirst for knowledge about our products and business lines.
  • Proven ability to jump in, learn on the job, and deliver consistently high service quality and mutual value
  • Strong track record in building lasting customer relationships
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Confident with cold calling and developing new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills
  • Comfortable working across office systems and hands-on with equipment
  • Understanding of equipment accreditation, compliance, and certification requirements preferred
