About the role

We are seeking a Village Maintenance Technician to join our team in Moora. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining BBB rental assets to ensure they remain safe, reliable, and in excellent working condition. You will play a key role in supporting site operations by managing maintenance activities, overseeing subcontractors, and ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

What you'll do

  • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance
  • Diagnose faults, perform testing, and coordinate repairs
  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
  • Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards
  • Manage inventory, parts, and consumables
  • Support Village Management with operational requirements
  • Maintain equipment, yards, and work areas to a high standard
  • Assist with stock control, deliveries, and site logistics
  • Follow all HSE policies and maintain a safe working environment
  • Build positive working relationships with team members and clients

Selection Criteria

  • Experience working in remote, industrial, or camp environments (preferred)
  • Previous maintenance experience with plumbing/electrical
  • Previous experience working with wastewater system (highly regarded)
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence (minimum Class C; MR/HR desirable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude
  • High Risk Work Licence (forklift)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Current National Police Clearance
