The CWWS-OWS system is a coalescing plate separator that uses an enhanced gravity system to remove oils and solids from water. The separator tank is manufactured from 304 stainless steel and is supported by a galvanized steel frame. The coalescing plate pack is made from fiberglass with a stainless-steel supporting frame.
Oily water is pumped through to an inlet chamber where solids settle out and 100% oil slugs rise immediately to the surface. The remaining oily water mixture flows through a stack of closely spaced, corrugated fiberglass plates. Both the smaller oil droplets and the fine solids are progressively separated. After the oily water is separated, an oil baffle prevents it from entering the outlet weir. The treated water is then discharged to the buffer tank, waste oil to a drum underneath and the concentrated solids collected in the hopper. These are removed by a readily accessible manual gate valve at the base of the unit.
The CWWS-OWS system will help you meet water authority standards that will save on costly fines and shutdowns, as well as ensuring to meet your environmental duty of care. The system is pre-plumbed, pre-wired, and designed to fit existing infrastructure – saving on installation time.
