192-room accommodation camp for a major NSW renewable energy project

Centurion Accommodation & Modular (CAMS) delivered a purpose-built 192-room modular accommodation village with integrated water and wastewater treatment to support construction of a major renewable energy project in regional New South Wales.

Centurion Accommodation & Modular (CAMS) has successfully completed the design and delivery of a purpose-built, 192-room modular accommodation camp to support construction of a major renewable energy project in regional New South Wales.

Located in a remote area and subject to cooler climate conditions, the village was designed in-house to provide a practical, compliant and comfortable living environment for the workforce during construction.

The project also included fully integrated water and wastewater treatment systems delivered by Centurion Water & Wastewater Solutions (CWWS).

What we delivered

The accommodation village includes:

  • A side-loadable modular building design, reducing transport requirements and enabling faster installation

  • Ensuite rooms with quality finishes

  • Commercial kitchen, gym, tavern, wet mess and BBQ facilities

  • Recreation areas, satellite TV, faith room, first aid room, shop and office space

  • Integrated water and wastewater treatment systems.

By bringing together CAMS and CWWS under one coordinated delivery model, Centurion provided a single, streamlined solution for the client, minimising interfaces and simplifying project management from design through to commissioning.

As new transmission infrastructure continues to come online across Australia, projects like this play an important role in supporting Australia’s transition to renewable energy. Centurion is proud to have contributed to the enabling infrastructure that helps make these developments possible.

From short-term camps through to long-term and permanent village solutions, Centurion delivers scalable, fit-for-purpose workforce accommodation across Australia through CAMS, BBB Remote Site Services and Rapid Camps.
