SYNERGYS KING ROCK WIND FARM: VILLAGE NEARS OCCUPANCY

All buildings and essential services for Synergy’s Hyden Workers’ Accommodation Village at King Rocks Wind Farm are now fully delivered and installed. With occupancy just around the corner, project teams will soon move in to begin constructing the turbines that will power Western Australia’s renewable energy future.

Despite heavy rains and a cold winter, another milestone has been reached at Synergy’s King Rocks Wind Farm near Hyden, WA. The BBB Remote Site Services (a Centurion company) construction team has successfully delivered and installed all buildings and equipment for the Hyden Workers’ Accommodation Village, bringing the project a step closer to welcoming its first occupants.

Once the village opens, project teams will be able to move in and begin constructing the 17 wind turbines that will generate up to 105 megawatts of renewable energy, helping power Western Australia’s cleaner energy future. Our latest drone footage captures a bird’s eye view of how the village is coming together.

Turn-key Camp Package

Delivered by BBB Remote Site Services, the Hyden Workers’ Accommodation Village is a complete, turn-key package designed for comfort, safety and efficiency:

  • Side-loadable accommodation units – our largest yet, featuring spacious 3-bedroom layouts, high-quality finishes, and a design that feels more like home. Their side-loadable design makes them safer, faster and more cost-effective to transport and install

  • Certified management systems – every stage of delivery is backed by ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 45001 (safety) and ISO 14001 (environment) standards
  • Essential services – including water and wastewater treatment plants, now in commissioning, ensuring safe and sustainable village operations.

This milestone marks an important step forward for our client, our team, and for renewable energy development in Western Australia.
