NEW CONTRACT FOR CHEMICAL DOSING UPGRADE AT COLLIE POWER STATION

WestWater (a Centurion company) has been awarded a contract by Worley Power Services to design and install new chemical dosing systems at Collie Power Station, replacing ageing equipment to improve water quality, safety and reliability, with completion due mid-2026.

WestWater (a Centurion company), has been awarded a new contract by Worley Power Services to upgrade key water treatment infrastructure at Collie Power Station in Western Australia’s Southwest.

The project is part of broader safety and reliability improvements at the power station. WestWater will design and install two fully enclosed chemical dosing pump cabinets, replacing ageing equipment used in the site’s Mixed Bed and Condensate Polishing Plant systems.

The new cabinets will accurately dose sodium hydroxide into the water treatment process, helping maintain water quality, improving operator safety and reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.

What’s involved

  • Design and installation of two chemical dosing skids

  • Safe removal of the existing units

  • Factory and site acceptance testing

Work is now underway, with project completion expected by mid-2026.
