Centurion Expands with Acquisition of Western Australian based Rapid Camps

Centurion has strengthened its national remote camp capability through the acquisition of WA-based Rapid Camps, expanding its ability to deliver fully integrated, scalable accommodation and support services across mining, resources, infrastructure, defence and government sectors.

Centurion Asia Pacific Rentals & Services (Centurion), part of the Centurion Group (the Group) and a provider of rental and service solutions for critical industries operating in complex, challenging, and remote locations, is pleased to welcome Western Australian-based Rapid Camps to the business following its recent acquisition.

Rapid Camps brings a large fleet of modular camp buildings and additional expertise in the remote accommodation space, enhancing Centurion’s capacity to deliver full-service remote accommodation solutions in Western Australia. The acquisition broadens Centurion’s ability to support complex projects across the mining, resources, infrastructure, defence, and government sectors.

Through this acquisition, Centurion now delivers one of the most flexible and scalable remote camp infrastructure offerings in Australia.

Centurion has a strong established presence in Eastern Australia’s temporary remote camp market through Centurion Accommodation & Modular (CAMS) based in Dubbo, NSW. The acquisition of Rapid Camps also significantly strengthens Centurion’s existing position in WA, where the business already delivers services via Centurion company, BBB Remote Site Services.

Rapid Camps brings a proven track record delivering high-quality, custom solutions on tight timelines. Notable projects include:

• Marble Bar, WA: An initial 100 person trailer mounted camp installation followed by a 300-person camp expansion for a major iron ore producer, deployed on a live site without operational disruption.
• Cardo Creek (West Pilbara region in WA): Delivered a 132-person transportable camp to support an expanding lithium and iron ore workforce, with a modular, scalable design that ensured operational efficiency and workforce well-being as exploration progressed.
