WestWater Earns Safety Praise by the Water Corporation

WestWater, part of Centurion Asia Pacific, was recognised by the Water Corporation for safely and efficiently completing a complex acid tank replacement at a water treatment plant in Albany, WA.

The Water Corporation, WA’s leading water provider, has given a shoutout to WestWater, part of Centurion Asia Pacific, for their outstanding commitment to health and safety during a high-risk project.

Our team successfully replaced a 17KL (one-tonne) Fluorosilicic Acid storage tank at a water treatment plant in Albany, WA—a complex job with hazardous, corrosive materials and confined access. Safety and efficiency were our top priority every step of the way.

• We safely neutralised and disposed of ~1,000 litres of acid
• Carefully removed a large concrete tilt panel (pre-cast concrete wall)
• Used precision lifting equipment for a smooth replacement of the tank
• Restored the tilt panel to ensure structural integrity.
