HARRIET ALPHA PLATFORM DECOMMISSIONING - IN PROGRESS

Centurion is supporting the safe and efficient removal of the Harriet Alpha Platform off Dampier, one of Australia’s most significant offshore decommissioning projects.

Centurion is supporting one of Australia’s most significant offshore decommissioning projects – the removal of the Harriet Alpha Platform off the coast of Dampier, Western Australia.

Harriet Alpha was first installed in 1986 and retired in 2013. Now, more than three decades after its installation, it is being dismantled as part of a major offshore decommissioning campaign.

Our role in the project

Working in close partnership with the lead contractor, our team designed and delivered a tailored equipment package to ensure the safe and efficient removal of the platform. This includes:

  • ROV-based high-pressure water jetting systems
  • Subsea dredging spreads built for reliability in complex marine conditions

The full spread is offshore, operational, and progressing according to plan. The project is expected to be completed by the end of September 2025.

For campaigns like Harriet Alpha, Centurion provides more than equipment, we bring together the right people, the right tools, and proven know-how to deliver results safely and efficiently.
