CENTURION SUBSEA SERVICES (SG) AWARDED KEY EQUIPMENT CONTRACT ON MAJOR OFFSHORE AUSTRALIA-BASED PROJECT

Centurion Subsea Services has secured a contract with a key customer to deliver subsea tooling and back deck equipment in support of a critical scope on an Australia-based offshore energy decommissioning project.

Centurion’s Singapore team supplied shear cutters, HPUs, project management services and two highly-experienced technicians to support the recovery and disposal of a flowline on the project, located in Bass Strait. With an expected duration of three months, all preparations, System Integration Testing (SIT), standby and initial equipment transit took place from Centurion’s base in Loyang, Singapore.

Centurion Subsea Services also provided key support on this scope, providing the engineering design for a transportation frame for the new Shear cutters procured by the Singapore team, which was fabricated locally in Singapore.

Centurion was awarded this contract due to our range of equipment available in the region, competitive pricing, and a strong working relationship with the customer.
