Synergy's King Rocks Wind Farm Village Nears Completion
Centurion’s accommodation village for Synergy’s King Rocks Wind Farm project in Hyden is nearing completion, with 189 new side-loadable accommodation modules ready for crews to move in throughout October. The project highlights Centurion’s integrated capability, delivering accommodation, camp operations and water and wastewater services to support Western Australia’s renewable energy transition.

Centurion’s accommodation village for Synergy’s King Rocks Wind Farm project in Hyden, Western Australia, is almost ready to welcome its first residents, with all 189 newly built side-loadable accommodation modules now on site and crews scheduled to move in throughout October 2025.
Designed and delivered by Centurion Accommodation & Modular Solutions, the village was built with one clear goal – to feel more like home than a remote worksite. The spacious three-bedroom units feature quality finishes and a layout that blends seamlessly with the surrounding Wheatbelt landscape.
Preparing for day one
Centurion’s hospitality team is already onsite putting the final touches in place. Kitchens are being stocked, linen unpacked and facilities prepared for shift rotations. From housekeeping through to catering, every detail is focused on comfort and wellbeing.
Crews will enjoy chef-prepared meals, healthy menu options and warm, welcoming communal spaces designed to build connection and support life on site. It’s all part of Centurion’s commitment to delivering accommodation that supports both performance and morale in remote project environments.
Powering a renewable future
Once the village is fully operational, construction will begin on 17 wind turbines that will generate up to 105 megawatts of renewable energy – enough to power around 70,000 homes across Western Australia. The King Rocks Wind Farm is part of Synergy’s broader strategy to support WA’s transition to cleaner, more sustainable energy sources.
And for those not familiar with Hyden – it’s a special part of regional WA. The town is famously home to Wave Rock (Katter Kich), a stunning 2.7-billion-year-old rock formation that draws visitors from around the world and recently played host to the Wave Rock Festival over the weekend.
