DELIVERYING A WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT FOR PNG LNG EXPANSION
We’re delivering a modular Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) wastewater treatment plant in Papua New Guinea to support an LNG expansion project, with a scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solution ready by October.
Our team is on the ground in Papua New Guinea, installing a new modular Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) wastewater treatment plant for a leading energy company as part of their LNG expansion project. The system is progressing well and is scheduled to be operational by late October.
Project Highlights
- Supporting growth – the plant is built to scale from 500 to 750 people and integrates seamlessly with the existing system
- Engineered for tough conditions – high-grade stainless steel and coated tanks make it robust to handle the local environment
- Designed for reliability – minimal operator input is required, improving safety and reducing manual handling
- Cost-effective – by reusing existing infrastructure, we’re keeping capital spend low while still ensuring long-term performance.
For our client, the challenge was clear: deliver a durable, scalable wastewater solution that works in remote and demanding conditions. Our modular approach, use of existing assets, and focus on durability means they’ll have a compliant, efficient system that grows with their workforce and operations.
