CUSTOM TRUCK WASH WASTEWATER SYSTEM HEADED FOR BODDINGTON MINE

Centurion is delivering a high-performance, low-maintenance truck wash wastewater treatment system for a major mining operation in Boddington, WA - designed for tough conditions and strict environmental standards.

Centurion has secured a new contract to design and deliver a customised truck wash wastewater treatment plant for a large mining operation in Boddington, Western Australia. Installation is set to begin shortly, with construction of the system already underway.

Built to handle harsh washdown water loaded with solids, oils, and grease, the system has been tailored to the mine’s needs - supporting clean fleets and compliant operations while reducing manual handling.

Key features of the package include:

  • Automated 125kL/h treatment capacity
  • Advanced SDAF system – more effective than standard oily water separators
  • 4G remote monitoring for easy performance tracking
  • Containerised, weather-protected design for durability
  • High-quality instrumentation from E&H, WIKA, and Rotork
  • Low maintenance and easy operation

The system also includes automated sludge removal, helping minimise manual labour and maintain consistent performance in demanding site conditions.

It’s another example of how Centurion’s Water & Wastewater Solutions team supports mining clients with efficient, reliable systems that meet site-specific needs and Australian environmental standards, keeping operations moving and fleets clean.
